The Soft Way to Mozart piano teaching software
is a core element of the Soft Way to Mozart piano
teaching method that can bring music literacy to all
children through public and private education. This approach makes any music and
piano teaching more effective, and transforms average "about music"
school lessons to ones where students actually receive music education by
learning how to read, play and sing music.
The Soft Way to Mozart software in school
Used in a piano lab that is equipped with
computers and piano keyboards, the Soft Way to Mozart software may ensure
productive group music lessons in any school or day care center. The visual
assistance and interactivity of this software supports the independent piano
practice of every student under a teacher's general guidance and control.
The Soft Way to Mozart software in the music studio
The interactive support and control of the Soft Way to Mozart software ensure
a more independent piano practice for every student, allowing the teacher to
divide her attention between several pupils. With this software you may conduct
piano group lessons with two or more students without losing the quality of
teaching.
The Soft Way to Mozart software in home schooling
The efficiency of the Soft Mozart software allows effective music home
schooling even if parents have no music education. The simple interface and
effective support and control of the program during piano practice help students
to learn how to read music and play the piano.
If your are going to use our software only for yourself and members
of your family, we recommend the purchase of the Soft
Way to Mozart Home Edition.

1. How to organize a piano lab in a school or music
studio
For a piano lab, you may use any classroom big enough to accommodate the
desired number of computers and piano keyboards.
One teaching unit in the piano lab consists of a computer connected to a
piano keyboard or digital piano.
Read more about How to set a piano learning workplace.
Ideally, there should be enough teaching units to provide every student with
a personal working place during a piano lesson. If the number of students is
more than the number of available computers, some of the students may share one
learning unit, or the class may be divided into two or three groups, one group
practicing piano with computers, while the teacher provides others with study of
music theory by reading music books, playing with flash-cards, or practicing
music writing exercises. In 15-20 minutes, the groups may change places and
assignments. The efficiency of the Soft Way to Mozart software allows productive
piano practice for a group of students even in a time span of 15 minutes.
Some of the Soft Way to Mozart computer games don't need the piano keyboard,
so the piano lab may contain several computers without a connection to the
piano.
The Soft Way to Mozart software doesn't use networking, so it's not important
if your computers are network-connected or not.
In the classroom, the students may use headphones. However, we found that it
is possible to conduct group piano lessons without headphones if the sound of
piano keyboards is low enough. If students actually practice the piano by
playing music instead of just banging on the piano keys, the combination of all
sounds creates quite a bearable music background. In this case, the sound of the
piano keyboards does not disturb and distract neighbors, but helps the teacher
to supervise the performance of the students.
