A PC running MS Windows Vista, XP, 2000, ME or 98, and equipped with the following hardware:
- Intel Pentium class 500 MHz processor, or better.
- Minimum of 64 MB RAM
- 30 MB free Hard Drive space.
- 16-bit color display.
- CD ROM drive (for installation from CD).
- 16 bit sound card.
A Mac running Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther), 10.4 (Tiger) or 10.5 (Leopard), and equipped with the following hardware:
- G3 400 MHz, or better, including Intel processor.
- Minimum of 128 MB RAM
- 100 MB free Hard Drive space.
- 16-bit color display or better.
- 16 bit sound card or better.
- CD ROM drive (for installation from CD).
If you have an older computer with a processor less than 500 MHz, it may still work well with this program in the case that your computer has a powerful graphics card with large internal memory. The installation of a modern inexpensive graphics card may drastically improve the performance of your computer for many present programs and especially games. To achieve interactivity and the program control during piano exercises, some of the Soft Mozart games use the MIDI connection of the computer to an electronic piano keyboard or a digital piano.
For the games that need a MIDI connection to an electronic piano keyboard:
- An external digital piano or keyboard with MIDI feature, or a MIDI keyboard.
- An adapter to connect the digital piano to the computer. Read more
